January Blues?

Anyway back to Real Talk™️, I’ve been feeling a little flat recently and this is not a unique feeling, the fact that January Blues is a commonplace phrase proves this but still. No money + the extra Christmas...ahem... ‘layer’ that I have acquired are not improving my mood. I still feel like I’m stuck in that Weird Christmas limbo phase, anyone else stuck here too? 


Since being back at uni and having a structure to my day again I've been feeling so much more motivated to actually do stuff. I’m experimenting with trying to organise my weekends a bit more too. It might be weird but I hate sleeping in until midday, because by then, it feels like the day is over (especially at this time of year when it starts getting dark at 4!). So I’ve started setting my alarm for 9 on the weekends to actually get up and hopefully do fun stuff too! Yesterday, I went to a beautiful cafe in Oxford Street with my boyfriend and our friends, it’s called EL&N - I’m not sponsored or anything but it was just so beautiful there. I’ve also switched up my diet massively by cutting out dairy and meat. My body is still adjusting to this change but so far I’ve been really enjoying cooking and eating this new food and my body is already so much healthier because of it! I can’t tell you how much my skin has cleared up since cutting out dairy, I even stopped wearing foundation! I’m not sure what this post even is, or if I’m even uploading it but I want to be as honest on here as possible. And if I’m feeling a little lack lustre it’s hard to write what was scheduled. I’ve been actively trying to cheer myself up and it’s actually working, having brilliant friends and an amazing boyfriend is certainly helping too so if you guys are reading this thank you!
