Vote Today Dummies!
Good afternoon my lovelies!
Welcome to my first ever post on life according to Liv, it feels like a much bigger deal to me than it actually probably is in the grand scheme of things. What's one more blog in the sea of amazing bloggers right? Well to me it's a way of being able to write in a creative way without the pressure of a big project. 3 things to know about me. 1 - probably obvious but my name is Olivia (liv to my friends) and I'm 19. 2 - I am an aspiring author, I've written two novels so far - unpublished obviously but hey, my mum likes to read them ;) . I have also written countless short stories and a concept musical. Which leads me to my third point, I'm studying a musical theatre BA in Drama School in London which is what I'm basing my blog on. I'm talking student life hacks, day in the life at Drama School, audition advice, London things and general day to day stuff that inspires me. So if that is something that interests you then do stick around I will try to keep to a weekly upload of Thursday afternoons but that might go out of the window as the weeks go on but we'll see.
I've decided to start my blog on today of all days, because it is Thursday The 12th of December. Momentous day right? Well it is, after I publish this post I will be going down to my local polling station to vote like I hope all of my friends, family and everyone that can vote will be doing. I'm not here to tell you who to vote FOR I'm just here to tell you to vote dummies. We are so privileged to live in a democracy w
here we have a say over our who leads our country, please take advantage of this and honor the people who fought and were imprisoned for this right to vote. As a young woman this hits me particularly hard as I know without the suffragettes I wouldn't have a voice or a say in what happens today.
